How are managed Agent charges calculated?

An Agent that we create and manage costs $3 per month, prorated for the part of your billing cycle that it exists, plus $1 per hour while running. Both charges draw from your team's shared Workspace usage credit.

Monthly charge

The $3 monthly charge includes time asleep. Pausing work when credit runs out does not stop this charge. Deleting the Agent stops it.

Running time

Each time an Agent starts, we count until it goes back to sleep and round the session up to a whole minute, with a one-minute minimum. A 20-second session is billed as one minute. A session lasting two minutes and 10 seconds is billed as three minutes. Time asleep does not incur running charges.

At the start of each billing cycle, we charge for any usage beyond the previous cycle's included credit, along with seats for the month ahead.

Connecting an agent that runs on your own computer does not add the managed Agent charge. Bring your own supported AI subscription; your provider's usage limits still apply. See Workspace pricing for the offer.
